General Conference Schedule
Wednesday, February 21: Opening reception at the Marriott in the evening
Thursday, February 22: Full-day tour will see raspberries, blackberries (and strawberry) production and research. Stops include:
- Hansen Agricultural Research and Extension Center, where we will see a caneberry variety trial, UC strawberry breeding program selections, and their subtropical fruit collection, with a tasting hosted by UC Master Gardeners. We’ll have a BBQ lunch here.
- A Driscoll’s ranch plus one other farm, TBD
- Underwood Family Farms (PYO and retail berries)
- Associates Insectary, which raises insect natural enemies.
Friday, February 23: A full day of educational programming, both general session and breakout tracks, with a trade show, scientific posters display, and lots of opportunities for networking and informal discussion.
Saturday, February 24: Educational sessions and trade show continue through 2:00 pm.
