 6 cups of frozen berries (Olallies, Boysenberries, Raspberries or Blackberries)
 1 gallon white vinegar
 sugar to taste

Place frozen berries in a large wide mouthed jar, or use a well washed plastic gallon milk carton using a funnel.

Warm vinegar and sugar and pour over 5 cups of berries in jar or carton.

Save one cup frozen berries to add to gift bottles later.

Cover container loosely and allow to stand for 8 days, shaking or stirring gently daily.

Strain vinegar and funnel into gift bottles.

For more intense color, add a few of the reserved berries to each gift bottle.

Yield: 4 quarts or 8 pints.
