Fresh Raspberry Ice

Make on a hot, summer day to please everyone


1 quart red raspberries

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

2 cups cranraspberry juice

2 cups pink lemonade


1Place washed berries in a blender and blend until smooth.

2Strain through sieve and discard seeds.

3Bring sugar and water to boil over medium and cook 10 minutes.

4Cool completely.

5Stir in lemonade, juice and berries.

6Place in freezer for 1 hour or until it starts to thicken.

7Blend until smooth.

8Place in plastic container and freeze until firm for at least 4 hours.

9An ice cream freezer can be used.
